About Calgary Irish Junior Rugby
One of the core values of the founders of the “Calgary Irish” was to provide the youth of
Calgary an opportunity to play the Global Sport of Rugby Union. Through this
opportunity players from all walks of life have benefitted from the development of skills,
physical activity and a strong sense of TEAM throughout their involvement.
With the development of the game across Canada the Calgary Irish offers programs to
girls and boys aged 5 years to 18 years at our club.

members by providing a quality cost effective sporting experience for young people.
2024 Season
The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a requirement for registration for all Alberta players; it takes approximately one hour to complete and does not have to be completed in one sitting. The Respect in Sport training costs $12 plus applicable taxes and is valid for four years. You can use an existing respect in sport certification number you have received through another sport, provided that it is still valid. We encourage our members to become early adopters and begin sharing this information within their communities.
