The Calgary Canadian Irish Athletic Club (CCIAC) is proud to offer free, flexible, and inclusive rugby programming for schools and communities across Calgary. Whether you’re a teacher, community leader, or parent, we’re here to help you bring the joy of rugby to your students, families, and neighbourhoods
Additional Details for Schools
We offer free in-school rugby programming to high schools and their associated junior high and elementary schools in Calgary. Our certified coaches bring all the equipment and experience needed to deliver fun, inclusive, and skill-building sessions—right at your school.
Eligible Schools:
All elementary schools and junior high schools serviced by the high school list below are included.
Father Lacombe, Bishop McNally, St. Francis, Notre Dame, Nelson Mandela, Lester B. Pearson, Forest Lawn, James Fowler, John G. Diefenbaker
Program Options:
· Try Rugby Day – A one-day, high-energy introduction to rugby. Great for PE classes or field days.
· Residency Program – A week-long or multi-week program delivered during PE or after school.
